About the Artist

The award-winning Royal River Chorus is a show chorus of women singers from Maine who perform exciting a capella musical arrangements in four-part harmony.

Royal River Chorus is affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, whose members are dedicated to the promotion of barbershop harmony, an original American art form. Sweet Adelines share a love of singing and performing that transcends the stage to reach audiences of all ages.

With Master Director Christine Ferguson of Poland, ME, Royal River Chorus has garnered several honors and awards over the past ten years, including Sweet Adelines Division AA World Champions in 2000 and 2002, and the International Harmony Achievement Award in 2003.

Royal River Chorus music comes from movies and Broadway shows, the land of jazz and blues, the Big Band era, and popular modern tunes. The chorus and its quartets are available to entertain at any size event. Performances can be adapted to enhance charitable fundraisers, conventions, community fairs and festivals, and other occasions where a professional, quality performance is expected and appreciated.
