About the Artist

My work is focused on the landscape, primarily the Maine landscape. I am drawn to high horizons and low light. The patterns and small inner compositions created by trees, particularly in low light, especially interest me.

My primary medium is pastel for the immediacy and delicious color it offers. I also work in oil and monotype.
