About the Artist

Landscape and Garden Design by Green Art addresses planting layout and stone work with equal importance.
Our specialties include semi-formal landscapes, educational gardens and parks, rock- and water gardens, as well as gardens of geographic styles such as mediterranean- and East-Asian-influenced gardens. However - most of our work is just plain, good landscaping as it is needed for a typical New England property.
The owner, Thomas Berger, is a European-born artist (see www.bergerstoneart.com) with a background in plant- and soil science, and many years of experience as a stone mason and plantsman. His design work aims at a connection with nature and follows principles of sustainability.
